The following data are transferred to Bing during a search enquiry:
Trueheart also assigns a “Bing Client ID” in order to improve the quality of your search results. This value is a user-specific ID which enables Bing to deliver more relevant search results also based on your previous searches. The ID is saved in the Trueheart cookie and retrieved during future visits.

However, you have full control over the use of this “Client ID”. If “Do not track” is activated in your browser, the Client ID is automatically deactivated and neither saved nor sent. Also, you can use controls in your internet browser to limit how the websites you visit are able to use cookies and to withdraw your consent by clearing or blocking cookies.

Occasionally, we may analyze user behavior by incorporating A/B testing. Basically, we would make slight changes in our copy / design, etc. and show different users the altered content to see how they respond. This is an important tool to continue improving our website and services.

When you search at Trueheart, we show ads along with organic search results. If you click on an ad, Trueheart receives revenue, which is how we operate our business and also enables us to donate funds to charities that are making a positive impact in the world.

As mentioned above, Trueheart works with the Bing Ad Network. When you click on an ad, the following data is sent: search term, your IP address, place, date and time of the search inquiry and the browser configuration.

As mentioned above, Trueheart assigns a Bing “Client ID” in order to improve the quality of the ads. This value is a user-specific ID, which is saved in the Trueheart cookie and retrieved during future visits.

This enables Bing to display more relevant ads from Bing or third-party suppliers from the Bing ad network for you, based in part on prior searches.

In order to market and promote Trueheart, we use third-party providers, including Google, Instagram, You Tube, Facebook, Amazon and others to market and advertise Trueheart on external websites. We are able to track these promotional and ad campaigns in order to analyze if they are successful.

When you click on one of Trueheart’s promotional ads, your browser forms a direct connection with the third-party provider’s server. We do not have any influence on the use of the data which is gathered by the third-party provider. For example, it is possible that the their party provider may find out your IP address and other identifying characteristics and save them.
